WEGV-Ann Arbor Community Radio is a project of the Make This World Foundation.  The station is created to promote greater diversity in media as well as support for independent music and local voices on the airwaves of "Tree Town, USA". We're particularly interested in providing access to traditionally underrepresented audiences including, African-American and Multicultural families, women and seniors.

In Late 2010, with passage of the Local Community Radio Act, new non-commercial radio stations were granted the chance to seek licenses for the first time in more than a decade. The FCC accepted new applications from prospective stations in 2013 and we were the only Washtenaw county applicant to file a submission. The station’s official call sign is WEGV and currently transmits from the frequency at 102.3 FM.
